Educator’s Registration & Credentialing Form

Please fill out this form to apply for a free educator’s account. This account will give you access to site resources that are restricted to educators. Some of the resources are:

  • Digital Desk Copy for “PC Skills for Today’s Automotive Technician” – You will have access to a full online version of this book. The online version is identical to the printed book except it must be read online. Note that this book will be available for purchase in June 2010.
  • Instructional Support Materials -  A comprehensive set of instructional support material is under development and will be available by the Fall Semester of 2010. This will include items such as: supplemental multimedia and SCORM compliant test modules.
  • Online Classes – All educators will have access to any online classes offered by DLP at no cost.
  • The Teacher’s Lounge – This  forum-based resource will support the open exchange of information among automotive educators. The focus will be on teaching with technology. (Available August 2010).

    • Credentials Section

      In this section please provide at least one piece of information that can validate your position in the automotive education profession.
    • An email address ending in ".edu" (or any other domain that is obviously a school) is one choice.
    • A faculty directory (or any other web page that can confirm you involvement in automotive education) is another choice.
    • Uploading a document is yet another choice for verification. File formats accepted are pdf, doc, docx, jpg, and png.
    • You may optionally provide any additional information that you wish in this text box.
      All resources made available to site users with an Educational Account is strictly for professional development and evaluation. A monthly newsletter will be sent to members of this group; however, each newsletter contains a link to stop the mailings at any point.
