Site Registration

While most of this site is open to visitors, you are encouraged to register (at no cost) and become a standard member of the Digital Literacy Project (DLP) web site. By registering you will gain access to additional resources such as:

• Commenting – By registering with DLP you will be able to add your comments to information posted on the site.
• Monthly Newsletter – DLP will email a newsletter each month to highlight industry news and new site features. You may opt out of this monthly newsletter at any time.
• Upcoming Features – Most upcoming features will only be available to registered users.

To register, click on the “Click Here To Sign Up Now” link in the right sidebar or click here. You only will need to supply your name, a username, a password, and a valid email address. Your registration email address will be sent a validation message.

Site Registration for Educators
Those that are professionally involved in automotive education should use this form to register. Educators will have access to even more site resources such as:

• Digital Desk Copy – Access to an online version of the “Technology Guide For Today’s Automotive Technician” book.
• The Teacher’s Lounge – A forum-based resource to promote the open exchange of information about teaching with technology.  (Available Sept 2010)
• Access to Online Courses – Those that are credentialed as a full-time automotive educator will have access to all online training at no charge. Online training will be available by Winter 2010.
